My passion is learning from the wisdom teachings of the world. The earth loving, old and new shamanic cultures, from America to Africa, Europe to Tibet, taught me more than I can express. I have been privileged to meet with, and learn from, many generous and wise teachers and elders over the past 20 years. They awakened me to my spiritual path, and have supported me since, with humour, humility and love. By their example I have become most at home exploring with others our collective and individual understanding of true nature, both inner and outer. The workshops and classes at Sky Tipi will offer service to artistic, spiritual and earth living skills. (links to teachers and organisations)

The Tipi Connection
In Nov 2009 I came back to New Zealand after 25 years based in the UK, and set up a home in the Bay of Plenty, in my home town of Tauranga. I am delighted to share some of the wonderful gifts that were passed on to me during my life and travels overseas. One pleasure being the beauty, simplicity, and usefulness of the tipi.

I caught the tipi bug initially, because of what went on in and around them. Old and young eco/spiritual warriors were blazing a trail around Europe and America - living and working with passion and commitment, to become closer to the earth. That usually meant a tipi or yurt in the centre of life. To me, the people were exotic and free spirited, they loved nature, were educated, courageous, open hearted and kind. The tipi's we shared became friendly, welcoming, special places of learning that created special memories. I hope you'll also enjoy a little bit of tipi heaven ....
